Charles D. Fuhr, 76, of Renfrew, formerly of Hampton, died Thursday.

He was born November 12, 1930, in Hampton Township, the son of the late Charles A. and Edna L. (Atkison) Fuhr.

Mr. Fuhr was a self employed general contractor.

He was a member of St. Peter Church in Butler and a former member of St. Ursula Church in Hampton.

He was a Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He was an active member of The Barbershop Quartet Society S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Pauline (Yalch) Fuhr, children Michael (Debra) Fuhr of Emlenton, Edward Fuhr of McKees Rocks, Janet Fuhr of Butler, Barbara (Jeffrey) Ruffing of Economy Borough, Theresa Fuhr of Hampton and David (Kathryn) Fuhr of Valencia. He also is survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and sisters-in-law Margaret Mihalik and Mary Listisen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Fuhr and one infant grandson.

King Jr. Funeral Home,</B> Rt. 8 at 2841 Woodland Circle Allison Park, Hampton Township, 15101. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ursula Church.
