Audrey Rice, 84, of Evans City, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, while under the care of St. John Specialty Care Center.

Born Jan. 27, 1939, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Jordan and Dessie (Reams) Jordan.

Audrey enjoyed gardening. She also loved ceramics, puzzles and playing cards. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Walter L. “Pee Wee” Rice; her children, Vicky Gass, Craig (Deborah) Rice and Eric (Billie) Rice; her grandchildren, Michael Gass (Stacy), Emily (Josh) Gass, Craig (Elizabeth) Rice, Frank (Brayden) Rice, Daniel Rice, Lacy (Jeremy) Serafin, Dylan Rice and Cole Rice; 11 great-grandchildren; her brother, Doug (Dianna) Jordan; her sister, Pam (John) Dambach; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her siblings, William Jordan, Frances McCall, Arthur Jordan, Dessie “Sissy” Jordan and Larry “Buck” Jordan; and her son-in-law, Clifford Gass.
