David B. Clingensmith, 68, of Chicora, passed away early Friday morning, Nov. 24, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford with his loving wife at his side.
David was born in Butler on Jan. 11, 1955. He was the son of the late William L. and Vera Ritzert Clingensmith.

Also surviving are two sons, William David Clingensmith of Enfield, Conn., and Charles Frederick Clingensmith and his wife, Jennifer, of Chicora; six grandchildren, David C., Ethan I., Oliver N., Taylor A., Greyson and Landon; two sisters, Barbara A. McElravy and her husband, Greg, of Chicora and Teresa Veith and her husband, Michael, of Butler; a brother-in-law, Kevin Daily, of Crafton; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
