Vivien Drewencki
Vivien Claire Drewencki, 90, of Cabot, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at the Magnolia Place of Saxonburg.
Born Dec. 31, 1932 in Tarentum, Pa., she was the daughter of Francis Burns and Audine (Stepp) Burns.
She worked as a private secretary at many different companies. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Joseph Worship Site, Cabot, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She was also a member of Mary Queen of the Franciscans Charismatic Prayer Group in Herman, the Boogie Jitterbug Club and the Red Hat Ladies. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially vacationing together. She loved Bible study, and spending time with her friends and prayer groups. She also enjoyed camping, cards, playing the piano, dancing, skiing and sewing.
Surviving are two sons, Edward A. (Linda) Drewencki of Cabot and Michael J. Drewencki of Phoenix, Ariz.; her daughters, Sandra J. (Michael) Troutman of Cabot, Susan A. (Thomas) Ruffini of Leechburg, Debra A. (Rodney) Wise of Butler, Denise M. (Jeff) Krstonich of Cabot and Beth A. (Charles) Behanna of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert E. Drewencki; one sister, Nancy R. Daylida; and two brothers, Francis Patrick Burns and Dennis Burns.
DREWENCKI — Friends of Vivien Claire Drewencki, who died Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot, with Father Mark Pattock officiating.
