Evans

Dennis J. Evans, 71, of Butler, passed away at his residence, on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023.

Born Dec. 1, 1951, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John C. and Bernadine P. (Holden) Evans.

Dennis was a graduate of Carrick High School and then went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He worked with AmeriCorps at Deshon Place and the Cubs Hall in Butler. Dennis loved spending time camping, fishing, playing poker and watching boxing. He was also very good at fixing things, and especially enjoyed fixing cars.

He is survived by his daughter, Alexandra (Miller) Sanzone, and her husband, Conner, of Mars; and his granddaughter, Riley Sanzone.

EVANS — Family and friends of Dennis J. Evans, who died Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
