Alec Allman Branning of Alexandria, Va., died Thursday in Alexandria.

He was born and raised in Butler.

He is survived by his children, Todd Branning, Heidi Miller and her husband Matthew, and Scott Branning; a brother, Jack Branning; four grandchildren, a niece and several cousins.

<B>BRANNING</B> — A memorial service for Alec Allman Branning, who died Thursday, July 2, 2009, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the <B>Demaine Funeral Home</B>, 520 S.
