Culligan Water Conditioning
Serving the area for over 70 years, Culligan Water Conditioning of Pennsylvania operates at 300 W. New Castle St. in Butler. The building housing the administrative offices was originally built in 1886.
Since its origination, Culligan has been providing quality water softening and filtration units to customers in Butler, Beaver, Armstrong, Westmoreland and parts of Allegheny counties.
In the late 1980s, Culligan began delivery of bottled water to residents and businesses in the same area. This business has grown over the past 30 years to include over 10,000 active accounts.
In the past year, Culligan has introduced a new water softener, The Total Home Unit, which softens water and removes chlorine. Also, we have seen the introduction of the Privilege Program, a hassle-free, worry-free way to care for your water softener.
As an active supporter of the community, Culligan provides product donations for activities involving the YMCA, the Butler Road Race, schools, churches, and other organizations. It donated in excess of 300 cases of water in 2006.
Culligan employs 21 devoted, hardworking individuals, including the branch manager Dan Gerten; operations manager, Don Patton; a unit accountant; sales representatives; route drivers, averaging 16 years of experience; service technicians, averaging over 27 years of experience; plant personnel and office staff.
