12:13 a.m. Thursday - Robin Hecker, 43, and Robert Schmitt, 36, both of 314 Liberty St., second floor, were charged with domestic violence simple assault after police were called to their home.They were arraigned by District Justice Cliff Woessner and are in Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.10:35 p.m. Wednesday - Vehicles driven by Abby Brown, 19, of 125 N. Washington St. and Carl Dougherty, 78, of 402 S. Chestnut St. collided on South Chestnut Street.10:20 p.m. Wednesday - Joshua Green, 25, of 323 E. Jefferson St., Apt. D, was arrested on a warrant from Beaver County. He is in Butler County Prison.1:54 p.m. Wednesday - Jason Wiemer, 28, of Hickory Street was arrested on a warrant and is in Butler County Prison.

5:15 p.m. Tuesday - Two people suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash on Route 2009 in Worth Township. Bryon Cogswell, 17, of Jackson Center missed a curve while driving at a high rate of speed and struck a rock and tree off the road. He was wearing a seatbelt and sustained a minor injury. His passenger David McCarl, 15, of Jackson Center was also wearing a seatbelt and was injured. A second passenger, Justin Beilstein, 17, of Stoneboro, was not wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

3:35 p.m. Monday - Vehicles driven by Robert Markel, 45, of East Brady, Vickie Best, 46, of East Brady, and Gregory Shumaker, 39, of Hawthorn collided on Route 68 in Brady's Bend. All three operators were wearing seatbelts and no one was injured.
