6 a.m. Wednesday - A truck driven by Nicholas McCarl, 37, of Butler Township skidded on ice-covered Roosevelt Boulevard, went up an embankment and hit a set of concrete steps. McCarl, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with unknown injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.
7:30 a.m. Thursday - Cars driven by Bryan Curzi, 18, and Edward Lucas, 81, both of Butler, collided at Route 308 and Mar-Vel Drive in Center Township. Curzi was cited for careless driving and driving too fast for conditions.10:30 p.m. Wednesday - Rickey Carly, 54, of Boyers was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck an embankment and rolled onto its side on Borchert Road in Cherry Township.3:30 p.m. Wednesday - David Vriendt, 30, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after his car struck the rear of another car at Route 68 and Kriess Road in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Vriendt fled after the crash. He is also charged with accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle and driving with a suspended license-DUI related.10:28 a.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Tonya Aspinall, 26, of Chicora skidded off ice-covered Thorn Run Road in Oakland Township and struck a tree.
4:12 a.m. Tuesday - Andrew Frederick Willis, 29, of Ford City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was allegedly found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle at Route 268 and Irwin Lane in Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County.1:30 a.m. Saturday - Carl James Rhodes, 48, no age given, of Kittanning was arrested for driving under the influence at Route 1038 in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.3:30 a.m. Dec. 2 - Kevin Quinn, 27, of Cowansville was arrested for driving under the influence at Routes 268 and 4006 in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.
