Brian Edward Dean, 70, of Butler passed away on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at the Titusville Medical Center.

Born Sept. 6, 1953 in Ellwood City, he was the son of David Benjamin Dean and Doris Elizabeth Hickey Dean.

Brian worked as an engineer for Pulva Corporation. He was a member of Tri-County Pistol League, PA Gun Collectors Association, Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club, and Moraine Conservation and Sportsmen's Association and a life member of the NRA. Brian was a competitive pistol shooter and enjoyed hunting.

Surviving are his mother of New Castle; two brothers, Bruce (Terry) Dean of Butler and Michael C. Dean of New Castle; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

DEAN — Friends of Brian Edward Dean, who died Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg.
