Frank L. Ford, 81, of Delaware Drive passed away Friday morning.

Born in Butler on Nov. 21, 1926, he was the son of Thomas B. and Rose E. Gallagher Ford.

He was a retired car salesman, having worked for Mikan Motor Co., L.J. Forcht Lincoln Mercury and Standard Motor Co.

He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was a graduate of Slippery Rock University and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic minister.

He is survived by four sons, Terry Ford, Mike Ford and Dan Ford, all of Butler, and Dave Ford of Baltimore, Md.; one daughter, Kathy Ford Bogan of Big Pine Key, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria A. Yenkala Ford, who passed away in 2002; and four brothers.

<B>FORD</B> — Friends of Frank L. Ford, who died Friday, April 11, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at <B>MARTIN FUNERAL HOME</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Cavalry Cemetery. Members of St. Paul's Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at the church at 9:35 a.m. on Tuesday to recite the rosary.
