Gayle Y. Stalker, 86, of Eau Claire, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at Parker Personal Care Home.

She was born in Hilliards, Pa., on Aug. 15, 1937, to Ford and Viola Hovis Hutchison. Gayle married Dale “Duke” Stalker on Aug. 25, 1956, who passed away on Dec. 28, 2020.

She was a graduate of the former Concord High School and was a member of the Clarion Chapter No. 267 Order of the Eastern Star.

Gayle had a passion for her golden retrievers and loved traveling when she was younger. However, her most important role was that of a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She adored and cherished her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kerri (Timothy) Simon of Hilliards; her two sons, Kirby (Tracey) Stalker of Boyers and Kevin (Marlene) Stalker of Parker; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Cody Stalker, and a great grandchild, Henry Simon.

STALKER — Private visitation and funeral services were held for Gayle Y. Stalker, who died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, Eau Claire. Interment was at Eau Claire Cemetery.
