Mary Lou Pietrusinski, 91, of Zelienople, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023.

Born Dec. 2, 1931, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late John E. Knauer and Mabel (Alben) Knauer.

Mary Lou greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and was very involved with her children and grandchildren. She was a proud Sunday school teacher, girls softball coach and Girl Scout leader. In her free time, Mary Lou also loved crafting. Mary Lou retired after 20 plus years at Resolite. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two daughters, Mary Pietrusinski of Cranberry Township and Nancy Sterling (Michael) of Ohio Township; her son, John Pietrusinski (Shannon) of Adams Township; and her five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Megan, Kylie, Anna and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin J. Pietrusinski, who passed away on Sept. 2, 2016; and her three sisters, Betty Steeb, Annabelle “Belle” Davey and Kathryn E. Steeb.

PIETRUSINSKI — Friends of Mary Lou Pietrusinski, who died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Additional visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m., immediately following visitation, at St. Peter’s Reformed Church, 320 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

She will be laid to rest at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Meals on Wheels c/o the English Lutheran Church, 200 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063.
