Glenn Smith

Glenn Smith of Butler, celebrated his 80th birthday with a family and friends picnic at Alameda Park.

Smith was born on July 26, 1932.

He married the former Adelee Smith on Aug. 4, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church.

He has seven children, Richard Smith, Larry Smith and Jeanne Burn, all of Sarver, David Smith of West Virginia, Marcia Wetzel of Saxonburg, Sheryl Johnston of Freeport and LuAnn Smith of Butler.

He also has 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Smith is retired from Oberg Industries in Sarver.

He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport and takes part in the monthly luncheon for the Class of 1950 from Freeport High School.
