Mazzanti

Barbara Jo Mazzanti, 77, of Saxonburg, unexpectedly passed away at her residence on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023.

Born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 19, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Florence Kellar.

Barb was a nurse and an EMT.

She is survived by her husband, David L. Mazzanti, whom she married July 2, 1965; three children, Brian (Jenn) Mazzanti, Denise Morrissey and Douglas (Tiffany) Mazzanti; seven grandchildren, Sean (Melissa) Mazzanti, Morgen Morrissey, Jordan Mazzanti, Alyssa Mazzanti, Kylee Morrissey, Ian Wilson and Gavin Wilson; four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Tucker, Daisy and Oliver; and she was eagerly awaiting the arrival of another great-grandchild expected in April 2024.

Barb is also survived by two sisters, Sandi (Jim) Dick and Isabel Hudecek; a brother-in-law, Rick (Linda) Mazzanti; a number of nieces and nephews; and her dear dog, Bella.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Frank and Gertrude Mazzanti; and three brothers-in-law, Denny Mazzanti, Ron Mazzanti and Emil Hudecek.

MAZZANTI — There will be no visitation for Barbara Jo Mazzanti, who died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
