Sandra Duncan
Sandra “Sid” Duncan, 79, of Renfrew, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023.
She was born in Hartford, Conn., on Oct. 20, 1944, to the late Howard Sr. and Dorothy (Rauschenbach) Hilliard.
After graduating from Knoch High School, Sid worked as a caregiver for children for more than 10 years and then for Walmart for 15 years until retirement. She was known for loving the outdoors, archery, country music, anything pertaining to butterflies, jewelry, a good cheeseburger and for being a caring, loving and hardworking individual. Sandra was a past Tri-State Country Western Association member, also a past active deacon for the Presbyterian Church of Prospect.
Sid was the mother of Raymond Jr. (Dawn) Duncan, Timothy Duncan, Terry (Berneta) Duncan and Sandra (Bruce Huff) Grafton; sister of Howard Hilliard and Doug (Maureen) Hilliard; grandmother of Brandon and Cameron Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Duncan Sr., in 1993; and her sister; Shirley Hilliard.
DUNCAN — Family and friends of Sandra “Sid” Duncan, who died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, will be received on from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect, 115 Church St., Prospect. Burial will take place in West Sunbury Cemetery.
