Hare

Garnet Mae Hare, 81, of Zelienople, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023.

Born Jan. 16, 1942, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Brennan and Grace (Campbell) Brennan.

Garnet was beloved by everyone and was known for being mischievous. An avid Steelers fan, she enjoyed cheering on the Black and Gold. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Michelle Colton, Dianne (Darren) Housholder and Pete (Nikki) Colton; her grandchildren, Cassandra, Chelsea and Matthew Summerill, Grant, Zachary and Vivian Colton, and Dorian, Damon and Devin Housholder; her great-grandchildren, Evelyn Colton, Grant Colton, Molly Summerill, Zaeden Aust, Jemma Aust, Ava Housholder, Callie Summerill, Chase Summerill and Cheylyn Summerill; her brothers, Leroy (Diane) Brennan and Denny (Geri) Brennan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby Brennan and Beverly Kozub.
