Audrey J. Lutz, 72, of Callensburg died Wednesday at her home following a short illness.

Born Sept. 10, 1938, in Callensburg, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Virginia Painter Brenneman.

Audrey worked at the Glass Containers Corp. in Parker until it closed. She then retired after working many years as a care nurse at the Clairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Callensburg and the Clarion County Rod and Gun Club.

Audrey had many artistic abilities including painting, gardening and jewelry making.

She is survived by three children, Cindy Mong and her husband, Sonny, of Emlenton, Chuck Lutz and his wife, Deb, of St. Petersburg, and Virginia Kerschmaumer and her husband, John, of East Brady; nine grandchildren, Chris Lutz, Jason Weckerly, Ryan Mong, Mike Toy, Josh Lutz, Adam Lutz, Jessica Lutz, Alicia Kerschmaumer and Kara Kerschmaumer; three siblings, Joe Brenneman of Callensburg, John Brenneman and his wife, Naomi, of Butler, and Connie Dixon and her husband, Bruce, of Callensburg; and seven great grandchildren and one on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Becky Weckerly.

<B>LUTZ</B> — Friends of Audrey J. Lutz, who died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Varner Funeral Home</B>, 1632 Bald Eagle Street, Sligo. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Rob Hernan, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Callensburg, officiating. Interment will be in the Callensburg Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations can be made to the VNA Hospice, 305 Main St., P.O. Box 668 Knox PA 16232 or to the Kirtland Cancer Foundation, 1339 Liberty St., Franklin PA 16323.
