Strickler Jr.

Daniel "Danny" Eric Strickler Jr., 21, of Butler died suddenly Sunday as the result of an accident.

He was born Aug. 30, 1988, in Pittsburgh, the son of Daniel E. Strickler Sr. and Cindy (Armstrong) Sadler.

Danny enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, camping and making films.

He was known to his friends as "Dan the Man," and he lived life being happy and good hearted.

Surviving are his mother, Cindy Armstrong Sadler of Butler; his father, Daniel and Joyce E. Strickler Sr. of Butler; his stepfather, Thomas Sadler of Slippery Rock; two sisters, Christina Sadler and Alaina Strickler, both of Butler; two stepsisters, Kristen and Chelsea Vickless of Cranberry Township; a brother, Devin Parker of Butler; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Armstrong of Evans City; his maternal grandfather, Peter Armstrong of Prospect; his paternal grandmother, Therma Strickler of North Hills; four uncles, Richard Armstrong of Evans City, Jeff and Kitty Armstrong of Butler, Pete Armstrong of Slippery Rock and Tom Strickler of Pittsburgh; three aunts, Tracy Armstrong of Kittanning, Lisa Armstrong of West Sunbury and Barb and Mike Peshkin of Chambersburg; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Strickler, and his uncle, Jason Armstrong.

<B>STRICKLER</B> — Friends of Daniel "Danny" Eric Strickler Jr., who died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W.
