6:32 p.m. Monday — Joshua Young, 20, wanted on a warrant, was arrested at his North Sixth Avenue home. Police said that Young and a 16-year-old boy, who was also at the house, were allegedly found with suspected marijuana. Police cited both suspects for possession of a small amount of marijuana.
2:51 a.m. Sunday — Christian M. Hills, 22, of Slippery Rock was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a single-vehicle crash on Delwood Road.3:23 a.m. Saturday — Clinton Kiddle, 25, of Butler was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after officers were dispatched to the Eat 'n Park on New Castle Road. There they found Kiddle trying to start a fight with several other customers. Kiddle urinated in the front bushes after being thrown out.2:45 p.m. Saturday — Amanda Mellish, 19, of East Butler and Justin Olson, 22, of Chicora were arrested and charged with conspiracy, theft of a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, after police investigated a stolen car from Point Plaza on New Castle Road. Both are in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond.8:06 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Gloria Wolfe, 64, and Teresa Dailey, 45, both of Butler, collided on New Castle Road at Point Plaza.
4:50 p.m. Sunday — Francis Kornick, no age given, of Butler is suspected of driving under the influence after his car collided with another car on Route 38 at the Eastwood Village complex in Summit Township.4:46 p.m. Sunday — Rickie Allan Yocham, 54, of Bellevue, Allegheny County, is in the Butler County Prison on three counts of child endangerment, two counts of reckless endangerment, as well as fleeing or attempting to elude, false identification to law enforcement officers and numerous other summary traffic violations after a traffic stop on Route 79 in Jackson Township.Police said they also learned that Yocham was wanted on outstanding warrants in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.9:25 p.m. Friday — A speeding car driven by Brian Krol, 18, of Slippery Rock struck a utility pole and crashed through a chain-link fence along Crestview Road in Slippery Rock Township.Krol suffered facial and chest injuries; a 16-year-old Slippery Rock boy riding in the car suffered cuts and bruises.
6 p.m. Thursday — Bruce Clark of Butler reported someone broke into his camp in Phillipston in Brady Township, Clarion County, and started a campfire, and ate and drank items in the camp.
11:50 p.m. Monday — Paul Raymond Thomas, no age given, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.11:08 p.m. Sunday — A14-year-old boy escaped from the George Junior Republic juvenile detention facility in Pine Township, Mercer County. Police said their investigation continues.5 p.m. Sunday — Mark Hayward, 35, of Karns City was arrested for allegedly threatening his estranged wife, Jennifer Hayward, no age given, of Mercer during a domestic dispute outside Prime Outlets in Springfield Township, Mercer County.Police said the woman, who works at the outlet mall, locked herself in her vehicle and called 911. The defendant drove to his wife's home and caused another disturbance.Officers arrested Hayward on Route 58 in Coolspring Township. Hayward, who is in Mercer County Jail on $50,000 bond, is charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.
