Zack Naples scored three goals Monday night as Knoch's varsity hockey team defeated Greensburg Central Catholic, 7-4, at the Penguin Pond on Pittsburgh's South Side.

The new outside rink was built by the Pittsburgh Penguins for use by PIHL teams.

Nick Brubach and Ty Honzo added two goals each for the Knights. Dom Antonucci scored twice for GCC with Ian Arevalo and Nick Benjamin adding a goal each.

Greensburg Central had a 27-23 edge in shots on goal, but Knoch took eight penalties in the contest to GCC's three.
