CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed at the 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday services at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road.
Volunteers are needed to provide wheelchair escorts for patients at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center during February. A sign-up sheet is located in the narthex.
A penny collection to fund the Dominican Republic mission trip will begin in January.
FAITH FELLOWSHIP
A New Year's Eve family night will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive. The movie "Love Comes Softly" will be shown and a social will follow. Participants should take a dish to share.

The Diaconate of Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 N. Main St. Ext., will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
FIRST BAPTIST
A New Year's Eve pancake supper will be held at 5 p.m. Friday in the social rooms at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St. A communion and 2005 goal-setting service will follow at 6 p.m.
The youth group will meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Friday in the Baptist Youth Center.
Women's Missionary Fellowship will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Baptist Youth Center. The speaker will be Pat Owens.
FIRST U.M.
The office of First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Friday and will be closed Monday.
There will be no children's bell rehearsal today. The group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Wesley Hall.
There will be no practice for the Wesley Chorale today.
There will be no FROGS meeting Sunday.
The Wednesday evening children's program will resume at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Kid's Choir will resume at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Ritts Chapel.
FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN
A healing service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St.
The Potpourri Bell Ringers will perform at 7 and 11:30 p.m. Friday at the church.
GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN
Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church will hold its first service at 7 p.m. Friday at its new location, 123 E. Diamond St., officiated by the Rev. Tim Bupp. A New Year's Eve meal of pork, sauerkraut and hot dogs will follow at 8 p.m.
A series of free concerts will begin at 9:15 p.m. Friday and a prayer service will begin at 11:30 p.m.
The church will hold its first Sunday services at 8:30 and 11 a.m. this week. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m.
A Sit and Be Fit class will begin this week at the church. Classes will be held at 10 a.m. every Wednesday.
HILL U.P.
The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. The Praise Team will perform at the Saturday service and a time of fellowship and light refreshments will follow each service.
The Faith Builder's breakfast will be held at 9:15 a.m. Sunday in fellowship hall. The New Sunday morning adult course offerings will be explained.
Sunday school classes for children age 3 through grade 12 will resume Sunday. Child care is available beginning at 9 a.m. in the nursery.
Volunteers are needed for the Removal of the Greens following the Jan. 9 service.
MERIDIAN U.P.
A New Year's Eve service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave.
Officers will be ordained and installed at the 11 a.m. Sunday service. The Sacrament of Communion will also be served. Homebound Communion is available by request.
The special offering received during January will benefit the New Wilmington Foundation.
MT. CHESTNUT PRESBY
Communion will be offered at the 8:45 and 11 a.m. Sunday services at Mt. Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 Old West 422. Officers will be ordained and installed at both services.
A prayer ministry will be held at 5 p.m. Jan. 2.
NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
The Lord's Supper will be celebrated at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch Senior High School, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg.
Middle school and senior high Bible studies have been cancelled for Sunday.
The church office is closed this week.
NORTH MAIN STREET CHURCH OF GOD
The Java with Jesus program of North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., will resume at 6:35 p.m. Sunday.
Members of the Living Christmas Tree decorating committee will be removing decorations between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday.
There will be no handbell choir rehearsal on Monday.
Regular Wednesday evening activities will resume this week beginning with the 6 p.m. fellowship dinner. Adult Bible study will not resume until Jan. 12.
OLD UNION PRESBY
Greeters are needed for January and February services at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars.
Members who have not received their Christmas cards yet should pick them up in the church mailbox.
Church officers will be ordained and installed during the Sunday service. Participants should prepare by reading John 1:10-18.
PARK U.P.
A New Year's Eve party and service will begin at 9 p.m. Friday in Park Hall at Park United Presbyterian Church, 115 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. The event will include games and food. Prayer and Communion will be held at midnight.
The Sunday service will be an Epiphany service. Music will be provided by Kate Silvis, Carol Meeder, the Rev. Pat McElroy, Maria Fish and Lynette Mort. Officers will be ordained and installed during the service and a coffee hour will follow.
ST. JOHN'S REFORMED
Brad Daubenspeck, a missionary with Campus Crusade for Christ, will speak at the 11 a.m. Sunday service at St. John's Reformed Church, Route 68 at Benbrook Road.
Confirmation classes will begin on Jan. 16. Classes will be held from 4:30 to 5 p.m. To register, sign up at the church or call the church office.

Holy Communion will be served at the 11 a.m. Sunday service at St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., Evans City.

The 10 a.m. service will be the only service this Sunday at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St. Communion will be served. Sunday school will be held at 8:45 a.m.
