SAXONBURG — The Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance Division is conducting its annual subscription campaign for 2014-15.

The ambulance service recently mailed letters to residents of Saxonburg and Jefferson, Clinton, Winfield and a portion of Buffalo townships.

Anyone who has not received a letter but wants to subscribe may call 724-352-3300.

Subscription fees are due Oct. 15.

BUFFALO TWP — The Butler Township Volunteer Fire Department will have a vendor day at its fire hall on Oct. 18.A variety of vendors will sell items from candles and party lights to cupcakes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the fire department, 565 Sarver Road, Sarver.This fundraising event for the department is typically held twice a year.
