BUFFALO TWP — Firefighters responded to a minor fire inside a tool shed Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Sarver Road.

The fire was started accidentally by the homeowner who was working on a motorcycle, Sarver Fire Chief Bill George said.

The man was able to knock down the fire using an extinguisher, though the Sarver, Saxonburg and Buffalo Township fire departments responded and put out remaining hot spots.

The waferboard walls of the shed were charred, but not destroyed and there also was damage to insulation in the ceiling, George said.
