Cranberry Township interstate ramp closure begins Monday
Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, the closure of a ramp coming off the Pennsylvania Turnpike westbound at the Cranberry Township interchange at Exit 28 will result in a detour for drivers.
The closure will begin at 6 a.m. Monday and will last until 5 a.m. Friday to allow for concrete pavement repairs. The closure is subject to change depending on weather conditions, Turnpike officials said.
Traffic affected by the closure will be directed onto the Pittsburgh/Erie exit of Interstate 79 and leave at the Route 19 Warrendale/Cranberry exit.
Higher traffic volumes near the detour are expected for both Turnpike and local travelers.
