11:51 p.m. Saturday — Christopher Lee Matthews, 26, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, 22-year-old Crystal Scott, during a domestic dispute at her Brown Avenue home. Matthews, who also was wanted on a warrant, is charged with simple assault, terrorist threats, public drunkenness and harassment.2:17 p.m. Friday — A truck driven by Tracy Adkins struck the rear of a car at Center and Whippo avenues. Patricia Lewis, 59, of Summit Township, who was driving the car, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for unknown injuries.2:19 p.m. Wednesday — Acar driven by Christina Gizienski, 23, of Summit Township and a truck driven by John Stobert, 44, of Connoquenessing Township collided on East Jefferson Street.
3:34 a.m. Saturday — Four suspected illegal aliens from Mexico were detained after a traffic stop on North Duffy Road. Police said the vehicle, which had a Colorado license plate, was stopped for an expired registration.The four men, police said, were later turned over to federal immigration authorities.
7:30 a.m. Sunday — A truck driven by Michael E. Page, 18, of Cranberry Township struck concrete barriers at the on-ramp of Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Page suffered minor injuries.4:16 p.m. Saturday — Apickup truck driven by William Dunstan, 37, of New Brighton, Beaver County, struck a stop sign and embankment on Route 422 in Clearfield Township.8:40 a.m. Saturday — A 16-year-old Fenelton girl suffered minor injuries when the truck she was driving crashed and hit a utility pole along Chicora-Fenelton Road in Donegal Township.A 16-year-oldgirl from Cowansville, Armstrong County, riding in the car, also suffered minor injuries. Police did not identify the girls.9:01 p.m. Friday — Chad Zboran, 19, of Slippery Rock is accused of allegedly assaulting Aryn Roofner, 19, of Slippery Rock during a domestic dispute at the Ivy Apartments in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Zboran is charged with simple assault and harassment.5:59 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Ryan J. Cully, 18, of Renfrew crashed into a utility pole on Sunset Drive in Center Township. Police said Cully was cited for an undisclosed violation.9:30 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Giacomo Kimicata, 83, of Karns City crashed into a guardrail on Glenwood Way in Center Township.5:45 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Richard Ackerman, 58, of Pittsburgh and a pickup truck driven by Christopher P. Tully, 28, of Mars collided on the off-ramp at the Cranberry exit of I-79. Police said Tully was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.3:59 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Mary E. Bowser, 70, of Petrolia crashed into a ditch on South Benbrook Road in Center Township. Police said Bowser, who suffered a minor injury, was cited for careless driving.Thursday — Agreen, 1998 Kia Sportage, reported stolen sometime between 10 a.m. Wednesday and 1 p.m. Thursday from 3021 Oneida Valley Road in Venango Township was later found burned in woods off Bruin Road about one-half mile east of Route 38. Lewis Fowler of Hilliards owns the vehicle.State Police, ClarionSaturday — An unknown burglar damaged a cash register after breaking into Nelson's Hardware store on Water Street in East Brady. It was not immediately known if any property was taken in the burglary between 5 p.m. Friday and 4:30 a.m. Saturday.Wednesday — A Sony PlayStation 2 console and several games were stolen between 6 and 9:30 p.m. during a burglary at the Main Street home of Christopher Lewis in Rimersburg.
12:31 a.m. Sunday — Bruce Bemish, 52, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Butler Road in East Franklin Township.10:30 p.m. Saturday — Wayne Ewing Campbell, 28, of Templeton was arrested for allegedly assaulting 30-year-old Diane Reedy, 30, of Templeton during a domestic dispute as they rode in a car on River Road in Rayburn Township.Police said Campbell is accused of punching Reedy in the face and choking her as she drove the car. Campbell was arraigned on charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail on $2,500 bond.
March 31 — Two space heaters and a pressure washer were stolen between March 29 and 31 during a burglary at ACPlus on Route 19 near Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
