Vera E. Peffer, 76, formerly of Portersville, died Thursday at the Valencia Woods Nursing Center.

She enjoyed living life to the fullest and being with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Randall G. "Randy" Scheidemantle and his wife, Kim, of Harmony and Donald J. Scheidemantle and his wife, LaRae, of Portersville; two daughters, Donna J. Eichenberger of Butler and Sally A. Hatfield of Grove City; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Thomas "Bulldog" Peffer, died June 13, 2001.
