Alvin Boltz of Sarver, will celebrate his 80th birthday with a family dinner on March 19 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.

Born March 6, 1925, in Cabot, he married Marian Schmidt on June 16, 1948.

He has three children, Susan Peck of West Chester, Marlin Boltz of Cabot and Beth Kuric of Erie. He also has eight grandchildren.

Boltz is retired from Oberg Manufacturing in Freeport.

He is a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Armstrong Lodge 239 F&AM, the New Castle Consistory, Syria Shrine, Saxonburg Golden Agers and the Acacia Club of Butler.
