Kimmel

Thomas W. Kimmel, 62, of Imperial, formerly of Portersville, passed away Tuesday morning in Weirton Medical Center in West Virginia.

Born Nov. 10, 1948, in New Castle, he was a son of the late J. Howard and Winifred O. Dean Kimmel.

He was a graduate of Southern High School in Maryland.

He was employed by Nestlé Purina as a shipping manager for 30 years.

Tom enjoyed camping and boating. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family.

He is survived by one daughter, Leigh Ann (John) McBurney of Pittsburgh; four brothers, Tracy (Cheryl) Kimmel of New Castle, Dr. Timothy (Darcy) Kimmel and Travis (Donna) Kimmel, both of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Todd (Ruth) Kimmel of Lynchburg, Va.; one sister, Toni Kimmel of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and three grandchildren, Emily, Sydney and Madison.

<B>KIMMEL </B>— Visitation for Thomas W. Kimmel, who died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at <B>R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory</B>, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. John Yergan will officiate.
