3:07 a.m. Jan. 8 — An SUV driven by Raymond W. Weaver, 35, of Mars was traveling on Knoch Road in Jefferson Township when it slid on the icy road, hitting a utility pole and a fence at Knoch High School. Weaver, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured.12:17 p.m. Friday — A motorcycle driven by Scott Schuller, 33, of Russellton was traveling on Saxonburg Boulevard when it struck an embankment. Schuller, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle. He was flown by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. He was listed in fair condition Saturday morning. Saxonburg EMS and Volunteer Fire Company assisted at the scene.3:50 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by James Cress, 44, of West Sunbury was traveling on Route 308 in Center Township when it struck a guardrail. Cress, who was not wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.11:35 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Eau Claire male was traveling on Route 38 in Washington Township when it hit a utility pole, a guardrail and several mailboxes before hitting a second utility pole. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. He told police he fell asleep at the wheel, leading to the accident. He received a traffic citation.3:40 a.m. Saturday — A truck driven by Lisa Young, 55, of Butler was traveling on Bonniebrook Road in Jefferson Township when it swerved to miss a deer and struck a utility pole, two trees and a plastic fence. Young, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company assisted at the scene.8:07 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Pamela Mohn, age unavailable, of Butler was traveling on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township when it overturned into the median. Mohn was taken by Harmony VFD Ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.Friday — Kim Vose, 45, of Butler reported the theft of a $150 sign from her driveway at 300 Beulah Road between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

10:15 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Amber Wilson, 19, of Mercer was traveling on Spring Road when it struck an embankment and rolled onto the driver's side before stopping with its wheels on the ground. Wilson, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. She was cited for not driving a vehicle at a safe speed.11 p.m. Wednesday — An unknown vehicle was traveling on Dusty Lane in Pine Township when it struck a gas meter before fleeing the scene.Dec. 10 — Deborah Millero, age unavailable, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct following an alleged incident with an 11-year-old girl.

5:58 p.m. Friday — A truck driven by Michael George, 27, of Ellwood City and a Jeep driven by Minnie Regna, 75, of Ellwood City collided on Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The impact spun the Jeep into guardrails across the road. The truck then collided with a vehicle driven by Jessica Pratt, 24, of Ellwood City. The second impact sent Pratt's vehicle over an embankment before coming to rest on its roof.George, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Jameson Memorial Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Regna, whio was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. Pratt, whowaswearing a seat belt, received a minor injury. Slippery Rock Township Volunteer Fire Department and Noga Ambulance were called to the scene. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
