Nature, Wildlife Show has opening reception

The Associated Artists of Butler County will open the annual Nature and Wildlife Show with a reception Friday at The Art Center.

Friday evening activities will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Music will be provided by Nic Landon performing ragtime, blues and early jazz. He is a guitar, banjo, ukulele and steel guitar teacher.

More than 20 artists are represented in the show. Artwork will include paintings, pastels, photographs, jewelry and 3-D pieces.

After opening Friday, the show will continue through Oct. 12.

Regular gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

Admission is free.
