Amelia M 'Emily' Miller
Amelia M "Emily" Miller, 70, of Highfield entered eternal rest on Monday.
Born Nov. 18, 1934, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Actorina and Caroline Angelo.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. She also belonged to Highfield Community Center and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Clarion.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family; her grandchildren were the love of her life. Emily and her husband enjoyed spending time at their camp in Sigel, Jefferson County, with their children and their families. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed shopping.
Surviving are her loving and devoted husband, Charles M. Miller Sr., whom she married July 31, 1954; a loving daughter, Angela M. Miller of Butler; four devoted sons, Charles M. Miller Jr. (Kathleen) and Darryl A. Miller, both of Butler, James E. Miller (Marjory) of Bellevue, Neb., and Paul A. Miller (Rebecca) of Butler; five grandchildren, Stephen M. and Stephanie L. Miller of Butler, Amber R. Miller of Bellevue, Neb., and Zachary T. and Kendal N. Miller of Butler. A brother Ronald E DeAngelo (Diana) of Butler; a sister-in-law, Diane DeAngelo of Butler; a number of nieces and nephews; and the family pet, Maggie, also survive.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony "Mousey" DeAngelo; and an infant daughter.
MILLER - Friends of Amelia M. "Emily" Miller, who died Monday, May 9, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Avenue, with the Rev. James Dolan officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.The Bereavement group of St. Michael Parish will hold a scriptural wake service at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
