Rushingn LaDainian Tomlinson had 105 yards rushing, topping 1,000 yards on the ground for the sixth straight season, in leading San Diego to a 35-27 come-from-behind win over Denver.• Frank Gore rushed for a 49ers record 212 yards, breaking Charlie Garner's team record of 201 yards on a 17-yard romp in the final seconds.• Kansas City's Larry Johnson, on his 27th birthday, rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns in a 17-13 win over Oakland.• Carnell "Cadillac" Williams, last year's NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, went over 100 yards for the second time this season. He rushed 27 times for 122 yards in a 20-17 victory over Washington.• Travis Henry, Titans, had a 70-yard touchdown run and 143 yards on 18 carries as Tennessee finished with 209 yar.• Rookie DeAngelo Williams, Panthers, took over for injured running back DeShaun Foster and rushed for 114 yards on 20 carries in a 15-0 win over St. Louis.• Rudi Johnson, Bengals, ran for 111 yards in a 31-16 victory at New Orleans.• Jamal Lewis, Ravens, scored three touchdowns and ran for 91 yards on 22 carries in a 24-10 decision over Atlanta.• Thomas Jones, Bears, had 121 yards on 23 carries in a 10-0 victory over the Jets.• With a strong performance Sunday, Eagles running back Brian Westbrook posted back-to-back 100-yard rushing games for the first time in his career. Westbrook rushed for 102 yards on 22 carries and caught a career-high 12 passes for 46 yards in a 31-13 loss to the Titans.
Receivingn Lee Evans, Bills, set a franchise record with 205 yards receiving in the first quarter of a 24-21 win- against Houston. Evans caught two 83-yard touchdown passes from J.P. Losman in the first 8:25.• Chad Johnson made three of his six catches for scores and had for 190 yards in a 31-16 win at New Orleans. The Saints' had 169 yards on nine catches.• Braylon Edwards, Browns, gained 137 yards on seven receptions in a 24-20 loss to the Steelers.• Deion Branch, Seahawks, scored once and had seven receptions for 113 yards in a 20-14 loss at San Francisco.• Reggie Wayne, Colts, caught seven passes for 111 yards in a 21-14 loss to Dallas.
Special Teamsn Cleveland's Joshua Cribbs returned a kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown in a 24-20 loss to Pittsburgh.• Adam "Pacman" Jones, Titans, returned a punt 90 yards for a score in a 31-13 victory at Philadelphia.• B.J. Sams, Ravens, ran back six kicks for 212 yards and set up two TDs in a 24-10 triumph against Atlanta.
Defensen Chicago notched its second shutout this season — the Bears blanked the Packers at Green Bay on Sept. 10 — by taking the Jets 10-0. The Bears became the first road team since the 1999 Washington Redskins to win two straight games at the Meadowlands. Brian Urlacher had an interception in the end zone and was in on 11 tackles.• The Patriots blanked Green Bay 35-0, their first shutout since Dec. 17 of last season. Green Bay gained only 120 yards.• In the Panthers' 15-0 victory over St. Louis, on 12 possessions, the Rams had nine punts, an interception, a fumble and a safety as they finished with 111 yards.• Renaldo Hill and Jason Taylor returned turnovers for touchdowns in the fourth quarter of Miami's 24-20 win over Minnesota. Hill returned a fumble 48 yards for Miami's go-ahead score, and Taylor scored on a 51-yard interception return to tie George Martin's NFL record for linemen with his seventh career touchdown.• Minnesota, ranked first in the NFL in run defense, lost despite setting a team record by limiting the Dolphins to minus-3 yards rushing in 14 carries. Running back Ronnie Brown netted 2 yards in 12 attempts.• Dunta Robinson, Texans, had a 9-yard interception return for a score in a 24-21 loss to Buffalo, his first NFL TD.• Ethan Kilmer, Bengals, had an interception return of 52 yards for a touchdown in a 31-16 victory at New Orleans.• Kevin Burnett, Cowboys, returned a 39-yard interception of Peyton Manning for a touchdown in a 21-14 win over the Colts.• Daven Holly, Browns, returned a tipped pass 57 yards for a TD in a 24-20 loss to Pittsburgh.• Keith Bulluck, Titans, went 16 yards with a fumble return for a score and had eight tackles in a 31-13 victory at Philadelphia.
MILESTONESLaDainian Tomlinson scored four times and reached 100 touchdowns faster than any player in NFL history. Tomlinson, who has scored an NFL-record 19 touchdowns in his last six games, reached 100 TDs in his 89th game, four fewer than it took Hall of Famer Jim Brown and Emmitt Smith. He now has 102 TDs and also topped 1,000 yards rushing for the sixth straight season.Houston quarterback David Carr tied an NFL record for consecutive completions on the same field where Mark Brunell set the record earlier this season. St. Louis' 15-0 loss at Carolina was the first time the Rams scored zero points since 1998 ... The Panthers, ranked 28th in league rushing, had a team-record 244 yards on the ground against the Rams ... San Francisco's Joe Nedney, who had never missed a field goal shorter than 30 yards, blew two against Seattle.

All told, Indianapolis had its most turnovers in its last 79 regular-season games, dating to Nov. 25, 2001.
SACKSMike Rucker had two of the Panthers' seven sacks of Marc Bulger, one for a safety, in a 15-0 win over St. Louis. La'Roi Glover had two sacks for St. Louis ... Kamerion Wimbley's 6½ sacks are the most by a Browns rookie. He had one Sunday ... Bertrand Berry, Cardinals, had two sacks before being injured in a 17-10 victory over Detroit.
