Charles E. Burr Jr.

Charles E. Burr Jr., 92, formerly of Butler, died Thursday at Edward White Hospital, St. Petersburg, Fla.

He was born Aug. 24, 1913, in Ellwood City and moved to St. Petersburg in 1975.

Mr. Burr retired as manager of the Pennsylvania State Liquor Store in Butler. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a niece, Linda Felts of Davenport, Iowa, and a nephew, Kenneth Wiles of San Raphael, Calif.

<B>BURR</B> - Graveside services and burial for Charles E. Burr Jr., who died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Strobel, interim pastor of St. Mark's Church, will officiate. There will be no public visitation.Arrangements are being handled by THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, and information also is available at www.thompson-miller.com.
