Louis T. Fornelli
Louis T. Fornelli, 80, of Butler passed away Saturday at Life Care at Allegheny Valley Hospital.
Born in Butler on Dec. 2, 1933, he was the son of the late Vincent and Catherine White Fornelli.
He was employed in the paint shop at Pullman Standard for 31 years until the plant closed.
He went on to work as a custodian for the Butler School District for 16 years, and he was also employed as a security guard for the school district for three years.
Louis was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church of Butler and the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. Louis was a volunteer for the Friday fish fries at the Knights of Columbus, and he was also a former member of the Duckpin Bowling League at the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Huba Fornelli, to whom he was married for 50 years; his two sons, Vince Fornelli and his wife, Michelle, of Warrenton, Va., and Robert Fornelli and his wife, Lisa, of Wilmington, N.C.; and his daughter, Kathy Fornelli of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers and five sisters.

Fornelli, who passed away Saturday, May 19, 2014, will be received at Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael the Archangel Church.
