Littlejohn leads Butler track team at Invite
Calvin Littlejohn won the long jump and placed second in the triple jump and the high jump to lead Butler at the Tri-State Invitational at West Mifflin High School Saturday.
Littlejohn won the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 11¾ inches.
Marcus Wesner placed seventh in the pole vault and eighth in the javelin and Joe Spohn placed seventh in the shot put.
On the girls side, Sarah Thiebaud placed second in the triple jump (34-3) and eighth in the long jump (15-7).
Emily Chiappini was third in the pole vault with an effort of 9 feet, 6 inches.
Kendall Butch also had a strong day for Butler, placing fourth in both the triple jump (33-4) and the high jump (4-9).
Tara Maxwell rounded out Butler's placers with a seventh in the discus (104-11).
