2:52 a.m. Thursday — Robert William Foulk, 22, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after he was found unconscious, leaning against the driver's side door of his car with the engine running and headlights on in the Bon Aire Shopping Center.1:36 a.m. Thursday — Virginia M. McCommon, 61, of Renfrew was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence and turning out lights to avoid arrest on Duffy Road following an altercation on Chateau Drive.6:53 p.m. Wednesday — Joseph Queen, 45, of Butler was charged with retail theft after he allegedly stole merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.8:01 p.m. April 4 — Karie Anne Fazenbaker, 26, of Wampum and Richelle Lynn Kosto, 25, of Ellwood City were charged with retail theft after they allegedly stole $91.93 worth of merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.
9 p.m. Thursday — Someone turned in a National City Check Card found at the ATM machine at Wal-Mart store in Butler Commons shopping center in Butler Township. Call police at 724-284-8100 to claim.9:09 a.m. Thursday — Vehicles driven by Aaron L. Zirnsak, 34, of Butler, Donald J. Duff, 49, of Chicora and Raymond J. Guiney, 48, of Greenville collided on Route 68 near Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township. All three individuals wore seat belts. Zirnsak and Duff suffered minor injuries and Guiney was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Zirnsak was cited for careless driving.7:40 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Nota Oliver, 80, crashed into a tree along Marwood Road in Winfield Township. Oliver was wearing a seat belt and was taken to Allegheny Valley Hospital with moderate injuries.Tuesday — Someone stole scrap metal from a shed on Rabbitt Road in Donegal Township belonging to Aneita Rabbitt of Chicora between Monday and Tuesday.6 a.m. Monday — Someone stole numerous items, including a 1991 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer, 250 pounds of copper wire, car CD players, aluminum wheels and a license plate from the salvage yard of Kennedy Diversified Inc. on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township between 9 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.Sunday — Someone stole account information belonging to Marcella E. Coyle of Butler, then made several purchases totaling $1,088.45 at a Wal-Mart in Jacksonville, Fla.
5:20 p.m. Thursday — Brittany Beatty, 21, of Slippery Rock was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to take $55 worth of merchandise from the Calvin Klein store at Prime Outlets in Springfield Township.5 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Andrea L. Brink, 26, of Grove City crashed and rolled onto its driver's side before coming to rest on its wheels on Interstate 80 in East Lackawannock Township. Brink was wearing a seat belt and two children were in child safety seats. No injuries were reported. Brink was cited for careless driving.
Thursday — Someone stole several firearms belonging to Raymond Knight, 80, of Portersville from a residence on Twentier Lane in Perry Township. The thefts occurred at different times during the year.
Monday — Someone broke into a campground trailer owned by Renata Lee Hall of Slippery Rock along the river in East Brady Borough. The burglar stole coffee cups, cash, three TVs, a water pump, ceramic fish, miscellaneous tools and an upright vacuum with a total value of $2,054, between March 1 and April 7.
