Walker 50th anniversary
Richard R. and Carol E. Walker of New Wilmington will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a dinner at the Springfield Grille in Cranberry Township with their family and wedding party.
Walker married the former Carol Cemate on June 10, 1967, at the First Methodist Church in Butler.
They have three children, Rodrichard Walker of Butler, Shelly Miller of New Wilmington and Scott Walker of Volant.
They also have seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Walker is a retired brick layer and stone mason who had his own masonry company, C & W Builders Inc., for 23 years. He is a member of Local 9 Bricklayers and the Lyndora VFW.
Mrs. Walker is retired and was a secretary in the Butler School District.
The Walkers formerly attended Community Alliance Church and now attend New Life Baptist Church of New Wilmington.
