Valerie and John Siekierski

John and Valerie Siekierski of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Cooper’s Station in Sarver and a party at their home.

Siekierski married the former Valerie McCorkle on June 24, 1967, at Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church in Russellton.

They have four children, Amie (Brian) Pollock of Latrobe; John (Coleen) Siekierski of Chapel Hill, N.C.; Scott (Deborah) Siekierski of Davison, Mich.; and Jason Siekierski of New Bethlehem.

They also have 11 grandchildren.

Siekierski retired from Oberg Manufacturing and was a tool and die maker.

Mrs. Siekierski retired from child care services.

The Siekierskis are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.
