Raymond J. Lipinski

Raymond J. Lipinski, 85, of Seven Fields, formerly of Evans City, died Wednesday morning at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars.

Born Aug. 24, 1919, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Michael and Martha Grabowski Lipinski.

He retired as a carpenter for the Massaro Corp. of Pittsburgh and belonged to the Local 142 of the Carpenters Union in Pittsburgh for more than 50 years.

Mr. Lipinski was a member of the St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Mars.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Martin Lipinski, whom he married Dec. 23, 1950; six daughters, Mrs. Robert (Rachel) Simmers and Mrs. Patrick (Christine) D'Angelo, both of Butler, Mrs. Walter (Joyce) Krason, of Valencia, Mrs. Charles (Paula) Watkins of Gerrardstown, W.Va., Frances Lane of Zelienople and Mrs. Michael (Laura) Busa of Cranberry Township; three sons, Lt. Col. Michael Lipinski of Waynesville, Mo., Daniel Lipinski of Boyers and Andrew Lipinski of Kinnelon, N.J.; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Lucille Lickert, Dolores Hamilton and Martha Bauman, all of Pittsburgh; and two brothers, Philip Lipinski of Washington state and Michael Lipinski.

A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.

LIPINSKI - Friends of Raymond J. Lipinski, who died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today atMcDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Mars, with the Rev. Charles Bober officiating. Burial will follow at Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.Memorial donations may be made to St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church Building Fund.
