Michael “Mikey D” DeAngello, 63, of Lyndora, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023.

He was born in Butler, on Nov. 30, 1959, to the late Actorina and Bernadette (Frye) DeAngello.

Michael worked at Pullman Standard, Ibis Tek and Sipple Steel as a quality inspector. He was known for being hardworking, a great dad and granddad. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors camping and fishing.

Michael was the beloved partner of Lou Ann Sacco for over 25 years; father of Gretchen DeAngello; stepfather of Terry (Jenny) Sherman, Kristal (Brian) Leinenbach and Travis Sacco; brother of Richard DeAngello and Carmella Jesteadt; and grandfather of Luke and Mason. Michael is also survived by one niece, Kirsten; and his in-laws, Al (Juanita) Kuhns, Berneice (Blair) Bogan, Jack (Alice) Kuhns, George Kuhns, Terry (Cindy) Kuhns, Katherine (Dan) Schuller, Donna (Randy) Stoops, Nancy (Hugh) Kuhns and Nancy C. Kuhns; as well as a very large extended family.

Michael was preceded in death by one nephew.

DEANGELLO — Services for Michael “Mikey D” DeAngello, who died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, will be held privately at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
