Linda and Robert “Bob” Elliott

Robert “Bob” T. and Linda J. Elliott of Prospect celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Elliott married the former Linda Fitz on Sept. 2, 1967, at Transfiguration of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in McKeesport.

They have four sons, IIan (Estela) Elliott of Slippery Rock, Aaron (Tamara) Elliott of Fayetteville, N.C., Owen Elliott of Allentown and Evan Elliott of Prospect.

They also have 10 grandchildren.

Elliott is a retired Pennsylvania state trooper. He also is a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army Reserves.

Mrs. Elliott is a retired registered nurse.

The Elliotts are members of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.
