Diane and Dennis Dancik

Dennis and Diane Dancik of Butler celebrated 45 years of marriage with a family dinner and a trip to Alaska.

Dancik married the former Diane Broerman Sept. 16, 1972, at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.

Their children are the late Shawn Danci and his wife, Chantee, of Germantown, Md., and Brian Dancik and his wife, Becky, of Butler.

They also have six grandchildren.

Dancik retired from Floor Coverers and Decorators Local 1759. He is a Vietnam War combat veteran.

Mrs. Dancik is a retired registered nurse who worked in surgical intensive care at Butler Health Systems.

The Danciks are members of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.
