Margaret Norabelle “Norie” Young

Margaret Norabelle “Norie” Young of Orchard Manor in Grove City will celebrate her 97th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the great room at Orchard Manor, 20 Orchard Drive, Grove City.

The former Margaret Gerwick was born Nov. 1, 1920, in Emlenton.

She married the late Frank E. Young.

She has four children, Jean (Paul) Schmidt of Grove City, Shirley (Dewayne) Heller of Franklin, the late Don (Kay) Young of Butler and Larry (Elizabeth) Young of Franklin.

She also has 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Young is Protestant. She is a homemaker.
