Rebecca and David Griffith

David and Rebecca Griffith of Madison, Ohio, formerly of Saxonburg, celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner in Madison.

Griffith married the former Rebecca Halstead Nov. 4, 1967, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sarver.

They have two children, Edward Griffith of Geneva, Ohio, and Drew Griffith of Madison. They were foster parents of their niece Sara Abrasheff Hupp of Winston Salem, N.C.

Griffith is the owner of Lake Balance Co. in Madison.

Ms. Griffith is co-owner of Lake Balance Co.

The Griffiths are active members of Painesville Baptist Church where they are members of the choir. Griffith is also a member of the men’s group. Mrs. Griffith also teaches Sunday school and vacation Bible school.
