Theodore W. 'Ted' Cochran
Theodore W. “Ted” Cochran, 69, of Butler passed away Saturday at his home.
He was born Nov. 27, 1941, in Butler to the late Robert C. Cochran and Virginia C. Rush Cochran.
Mr. Cochran was a 1959 graduate of Butler High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam.
He worked at Armco Steel, Butler Works, for 30 years in the inspection department, retiring in April 1994.
Mr. Cochran was a member of the American Legion Post 778 and the Social Society Slovak Club, both in Lyndora.
He was a Presbyterian.
Mr. Cochran is survived by one son, William R. Cochran and his wife, Barb Mosco; one daughter, Patricia Cochran and her husband, Jim Wilson; one grandson, Robbie Cochran; and two step-grandchildren, Krista and Lisa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Russell R. Cochran, who passed away in November 1995; and one brother, Robert C. Cochran.
<B>COCHRAN</B> — Friends of Theodore W. “Ted” Cochran, who died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Clark Sawyer of the Hill United Presbyterian Church officiating.
