August Casper

August J. Casper of West Sunbury celebrated his 90th birthday.

He was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Pittsburgh. He married the former Mary Theresa Keller Aug. 3, 1952, at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Claytonia.

He has two children, Barbara A. Loughner of Lynn Haven, Fla., and Gary J. Casper of West Sunbury.

He also has five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Casper is retired and was a steel worker at Armco in Butler.

He is a member of St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in West Sunbury.

He also is a member of the VFW in Butler and American Legion Post 243 in West Sunbury.
