Stella Hepler

Stella T. Hepler of Butler will celebrate her 100th birthday with a family dinner in Butler.

The former Stella Marchinoski was born March 30, 1918, in Butler. She married the late Robert Hepler Feb. 11, 1938. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.

She has one daughter, Patricia Galbreath of Butler.

She also has two grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

Mrs. Hepler is a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She retired as a crossing guard for the Butler Police Department in 1964 and retired from Sunnyview Nursing Home as supervisor of housekeeping in 1989.

She participated in the Women’s Classic Bowling League for many years.
