SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:
Nadine Atkinson, 50, of Greenville, Mercer County, pleaded guilty to a bad check charge filed Sept. 7 by Buffalo Township police. She was ordered to pay $803.92 in restitution, fines and court costs.
David Born, 23, of St. Mary's, Elk County, was held for court on a charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, and driving a vehicle without inspection, filed Oct. 11 by state police.
Rachel Casady, 31, of St. Mary's pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Oct. 11 by state police. She was ordered to pay $279.50 in fines and court costs.
Kenta McDaniel, 21, of Pittsburgh was held for court on a theft charge filed Oct. 3 by Buffalo Township police.
SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:Travis Christopher Grant, 18, of Monroeville had his case waived to court. Slippery Rock University Police charged Grant Oct. 31 with three counts of theft by unlawful taking and three counts of receiving stolen property.Rashad M. Brown, 18, of Aliquippa had his case waived to court. Slippery Rock University Police charged Brown Oct. 31 with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and four counts of conspire theft by unlawful taking.Mark David McConahy, 35, of Ellwood City had his case waived to court. State police in Butler charged McConahy Nov. 3 with driving under the influence, disregard traffic lane, turning movements and careless driving.Kyle R. Dempsey, 18, of Hazelton had his case waived to court. Slippery Rock University Police charged Dempsey Nov. 14 with driving under the influence, careless driving and duties at a stop sign.Tashonna L. Watson, 20, of Pittsburgh had her case waived to court. Slippery Rock University Police charged Watson Nov. 15 with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.Patrick Shawn McCamey, 30, of 414 Iris Lane, Slippery Rock, had his case waived to court. State police in Butler charged McCamey Dec. 6 with burglary, criminal trespass and loitering and prowling at night.
WORTH TWP — District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:Dennis Edward West, 39, of Huntington, W. Va., had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged West Oct. 2 with theft by unlawful taking and two counts of receiving stolen property.
