Clifford S. Dunbar

Clifford S. Dunbar, 69, of Conneautville died Tuesday at the Meadville Medical Center.

Born in Butler, he was a son of the late Lawrence Austin Dunbar and Mary Florence Johnson Dunbar.

He was married to the late Rose Marie Erdland.

Mr. Dunbar was a military veteran and a heavy equipment operator.

He attended the Conneaut Valley Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie Stanford and her husband, Howard, of Prospect and Cindy Stiefel of Conneautville and friend David Cornelius of Portersville; a son and daughter-in-law, Bart and Nioma Dunbar of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, Wendy and Christopher Stanford, Nicki Elder and Shanna and Shaela Stiefel; and three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Caleb and Sarah Stanford. He also is survived by five brothers, Chester Dunbar and his wife, Mary, of Zelienople, John Dunbar of Las Vegas, and Grant Dunbar, Jim Dunbar and his wife, Pat, and Lawrence "Pony" Dunbar and his wife, Lucy, all of Evans City; two sisters, Katherine Leonberg of Cranberry Township and Doris McDonald of Mars, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Kennedy.

<B>DUNBAR</B> — Friends of Clifford S. Dunbar, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, were received from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the <B>White-Cool Funeral Home</B>, 1405 Main St., Conneautville. Funeral services, with military honors, followed at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.Graveside services and burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
